Adding a new Item
- Click on "Items" in the side Navigation bar. You will be directed to the Items List page.
- On the Items List page, locate and click on the "New Item" button. This button is illustrated in the image below.
- You can add item either as inventory or service by choosing the respective option. Ensure that all essential item information is accurately entered into the respective fields. This includes details such as: Item Name, Unit, Category, SKU, Any other relevant data as required.
- Enter comprehensive sales and purchase information for the item.
- Provide pricing and inventory details for the item, including: Purchase Price, Markup, Opening Stock,Vendor Preferences
NOTE: If you want to add the item to the Point of Sale (POS), checkmark the POS checkbox, as illustrated in the image.
- After completing all required fields and ensuring accuracy, save the form.
By following these steps, you can effectively add a new item to your software, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with your Point of Sale system.
