Add New Credit Note

A credit note is an official document provided by a seller to a customer in response to returned goods. It serves as a formal acknowledgement by the seller that the customer is owed a specific amount, often due to sales returns.


Add a New Credit Note

  1. Hover over the "Sales" option in the side navigation bar.Click on "Credit Note" from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, click on "Sales," and then select"Credit Note" .  





  2. You will be directed to the Credit Note List page. Click on the "New Credit Note" button. A form will appear.


  3. Choose the customer from the dropdown list for whom you want to create the Credit Note for. Choose the Invoice against which you want to create the credit note.



  4. Fill in the remaining fields in the form once you have selected the customer and the Invoice number.

  5. Click on the "Item" dropdown and select the item(s) from the list for which you want to create the credit note. After selecting the item(s), fill in the respective fields such as return quantity.





  6. You have several saving options:

    Save the credit note, Save the credit note,  and open a new credit note,  form, Save and send the credit note, , Save the credit note,  as a draft. You can also add attachments to the credit note.



    By following these steps, you can efficiently create a new estimate in your software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
