KOT Management: Dine-In, Takeaway, and Delivery

KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) management in the POS system supports three order types: Dine-In, Takeaway, and Delivery. Below are the steps for each type:

Dine-In

  1. Select and add the items to the cart that the customer has ordered.



  2. Choose the "Dine-In" option, and click on the "Table" button, and select the appropriate table from the list.
  3. After choosing table and confirming the order, Click on the "Order KOT" button to send the order to the kitchen. A KOT receipt will be printed for kitchen staff.



  4. After serving, click the "Retrieve Sale" button. You will be directed to the Sales History page, where you can search for the sale using the receipt number, table number, or other details as shown in below Images.




  5. Once the sale is retrieved, you have two options to finalize the payment: 
    Quick Billing: Click on the "Quick Billing" button to close the sale immediately, often used for cash payments.
    Pay Button: Alternatively, click the "Pay" button to open the payment form, where you can select from various payment methods such as cash, card, or other options.


  6. Similarly, for Takeaway and Delivery orders, you can follow the same process—adding items, generating the KOT, retrieving the order, and completing payment—however, table assignment is not required for these order types.
