Create a New Budget
- Locate and Click on Plus(+) icon on the upper right corner of dashboard.
- Click on the "Budgeting" option Under the Accounting Section.
- On the Budget List page, click the "New Budget" button located at the top right corner. This will open the Budget Creation Form.
- Enter a name for the budget (e.g., New Budget 2024). Select the budget period(e.g., Budget_FY_2024).
- Define the total budget for key accounts such as: Sales of Goods Regular Discounts Cost of Sales
Note: The total budget amount will be automatically divided equally across all months within the budget period.
- Once you set Budget for the necessary accounts, click on save button to succesfully create this Budget. Once the budget is Created, you can view or edit the details, if necessary.
- Navigate to the Budget List page.
Locate the desired budget and click on the "View" dropdown
Select one of the available report options:
Budget vs. Actual Report: Compare the budgeted amounts with actual spending.
Budget Overview Report: View a detailed summary of the budget, including account-wise and monthly allocations.
