Add New Transfer Order




  1. Hover over the Items option in the side navigation bar. Click on Inventory Transfer. Alternatively, click on Items, and then select Inventory  Transfer tab.


  2. You will be directed to the Inventory Transfer Order List page. Locate the "New Transfer Order" button. Click on it Transfer Order form will be displayed.


  3. Fill in the required details in the transfer form. Ensure that all fields are accurately completed.Choose the source warehouse from which you want to transfer the item(s). This is where the items will be taken from. Select the destination warehouse to which you want to transfer the item(s). This is where the items will be sent to.




  4. Select the item(s) you want to transfer between the warehouse. Enter the quantity you want to transfer. You have two options either to initiate the transfer or transfer & receive. 

  5.  After completing the transfer form, click on the "Initiate Transfer" button, receive form will appear. You have three options: 
    Receive: To confirm and complete the transfer. 
    Delete: To remove the transfer request. 
    Cancel: To temporarily halt the transfer process.


     




    NOTE: If you choose to cancel the transfer, the status of the transfer in the list will be changed to "In-transit". As illustrated in the image below.  You can revisit and resume the process at any time by double-clicking on it, and the receive form will re-appear.



  6. Alternatively, if you click on "Transfer & Receive" , the transfer process will be completed. The status of the transfer will automatically get changed to "Received".
