Create A Modifier and Sale From POS

Adding A Modifier

1. Click on "Items" in the side Navigation bar. You will be directed to the Items List page.
   
   
   
   
2. On the Items List page, locate and click on the "New Item" button. This button is illustrated in the image below.
   
   
   
   
3. Choose the "Modifier" option from the item options dropdown menu.
   
   
   
   
4. Enter all relevant details for the modifier.
   
   
   
   
5. By default, modifiers are set as Non-Inventory. To track inventory, check the "Track Inventory" checkbox.
   
   
   
   
6. After Specifying the price and completing other additional details, click the "Save and Close" button.
   
   
7. Select an existing item or create a new item to which you want to add the modifier.
   
   
   
   
8. In the modifier section, choose the modifier and enter the quantity to be given free with the standard item.
   
   
   
   
9. After setting all the fields, click the "Save and Close" button.

Sale of Modifier from POS

1. Hover over the "POS" option in the side navigation bar. Click on "Process Sales from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, click on "POS", You will be directed to process sales.
   
   
   
   
2. Locate and click on the item that has a modifier attached
   
   
   
   
3. Upon selecting the item, a popup for adding modifiers will be displayed. This popup will show standard free items with the quantity defined in the modifier's definition. Click "Save" to confirm.
   
   
   
   
4. After adding the item, you can view the extra added modifier. Additionally, you have the option to add or remove extra modifiers as needed.
   
   
   
   
5. Proceed with the sale as usual.
